Dr. Alina Amaral Gilardi was born and raised in Sonoma, California, where she was actively involved in the agricultural community through 4-H and FFA. After graduating from high school, she attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, earning a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a pre-veterinary concentration. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2017.
Since graduating, Dr. Gilardi has been a dedicated member of the team at Arroyo Veterinary Hospital. She values the strong relationships she has built with her clients, patients, and colleagues, and remains committed to providing quality, compassionate veterinary care to the community.
Dr. Gilardi continues to support the agricultural community and enjoys mentoring younger 4-H and FFA members with their animal projects. She also raises registered Angus beef cattle and now resides in Petaluma with her husband, Mark, and their two dogs—Henley, a German Shorthaired Pointer, and Lasso, a Border Collie.
